John Kean is one of the leading dive trainers and professional guides in the Red Sea and also the author of the book, SS Thistlegorm, The True Story of the Red Sea’s Greatest Shipwreck. He has personally taught over 1,000 scuba students from beginner to professional diver levels in both recreational and decompression technical diving.

His style is thorough, effective and very professional, but also laid back and fun. With over 4,000 dives under his belt and 10 years continuous experience with all levels, John’s knowledge of teaching and guiding is extensive.

A Master Instructor with the dive training agency, PADI, and a Trimix Instructor with Technical Diving International (TDI) John has also served on the board of the South Sinai Diving and Marine Association. He welcomes you to the Red Sea for dive training, or simply to be shown around this aquatic jewel.
